  • I ship using UPS and occasionally USPS

  • US Shipping is $12, free for purchases over $150

  • Shipping outside the US can be arranged, please Contact Me before completing your purchase. Additonal fees may apply.

  • I am very careful to package each item so it is protected and arrives unharmed; however, sometimes damage in shipping can occur. If your item arrives damaged please photograph the damaged shipping container and the damaged contents and Contact Me so we can arrange an appropriate solution.

Return Policy

I want you to be happy with your purchase and most of the time everything works out perfectly. However, Artwork is a very personal thing and sometimes it arrives and just doesn't look the way you expected on your wall. And, although it is outside my control, images on the internet don't always show the exact colors across different devices making it difficult if you are trying to match your decor. So, yes... returns are possible.

Returns of items in original condition

  • You might want to consider exchanging the artwork for a different one, that said...

  • Returns are allowed in original condition within 14 days of receipt.

  • You are responsible for the return shipping fees

  • Please purchase shipping insurance for the value of the items that you return

  • Please keep a copy or photo of your shipping label/receipt and the tracking information.

  • Once it arrives and I have inspected the item, refunds minus $20 or the actual cost of the original shipping (whichever is greater) will be issued.

  • Please Contact Me to arrange a return.

 

Returns of items damaged during shipping

  • I will make every effort to package your items carefully

  • If your item arrives damaged please photograph the damaged shipping container and the damaged contents

  • Do not dispose of the damaged shipping container

  • Contact Me so we can discuss an appropriate replacement, refund, and/or return.

 

Special Orders - Returns and Refunds

  • In general special orders are not returnable or refundable, but each situation will be handled on a case by case basis. I do value having happy, satisfied customers.

  • there is significant time spent upfront discussing customer specifications and design

  • the item that may be so specific that it might not be able to be sold to someone else

  • communication during the process and photos sent prior to shipping should give plenty of opportunity for the item to meet the customer's requirements.

  • please understand that it takes time and my personal creative energy to create works of art and even more of both to create special orders.

My greeting cards, photographs, and art prints are printed at my studio using professional papers and an ink tank printer (instead of ink cartridges) which is less wasteful and generally considered to be better for the environment.

  • 11x14 white mats which fit the 8x10 art images

  • 11x14 quality gallery frames made from real wood that are 1.5 inches deep (from the wall).

Fluid Abstract Paintings

My acrylic fluid abstract paintings are created using a very wet and often messy process.

First, I carefully prepare white paint that is about the consistency of pancake batter and let it sit so the bubbles created during the mixing process are released.

I lay the canvas flat and pour the white paint over the entire surface. Then I add drops of color. I use various implements to blow the paint around such as hair driers and drinking straws. When I feel this surface has sufficiently developed, I draw into the surface with various items I have here at my studio. Honestly, one of my favorite tools for this is to drag different sized paint brush handles through the paint.

Landscape Paintings

My acrylic landscape paintings occasionally depict scenes that exist in reality; however, most of them are born out of imagination and the creative process and are not created directly from photographs. I do constantly look at the surrounding environment and take inspiration from the open spaces, never ending western sky, and generally beautiful weather we have here in Albuquerque, NM.

Landscape Paintings - special orders:

I agree to do landscape special orders that are of interest to me and that will go well with my style of painting, which contains some whimsy, and often does not lend itself well to precise reproduction from a photograph. If you love my work and look forward to an artistic, creative interpretation of your home, pet, garden, mountain view, or something else that is dear to you, please Contact Me about your idea.
